Is there anyone local who does work on Ray Marine products??  I have a DS600X that I inherited with a boat but just can't get it to power up.  Went to the Ray Marine website and they have a lovely offer.  Send then 500 bucks and they'll repair it no matter what's wrong with it.  Sweet deal huh?  Hell for 500 bucks I could buy a brand new Garmin GPSMAP 440 combo.

no power?  has it ever worked? have you checked the obvious fuses power at the plug?  I may be able to help.
