I have a 17' center console McKeeCraft with lots of issues, First of all I can't afford to go all out but need to fix this before its too late, and I don't have the resources. For instance one gauge works, the Tach, out of 4 gauges, steering is not smooth, bimmity top supports need replaces along with material, could use a serious overhaul on the fiberglass top and bottom, and last but not least the motor stopped pissing and the tilt quit this morning... If anyone is interested in helping me I have a 600 ac Ranch in Texas, and nearly 600 ac in Pennsylvania with lots of potential, not to mention if we get this crap fixed the fishing we could do.

Call me I'll be out there pulling my hair and fixing the motor today.

North Pensacola near Cantonment

And while I'm here, can someone help with trim problem It makes a clicking noise like a relay, but won't run the motor to lift or lower... I've nearly have everything working on the motor now 3 hrs later.

what motor do you have?  you should have three solenoids under the calon.  one will be for the starter and the other two will be for the tilt up/down power.  check the ground wires on them and make sure all the contacts are clean.  if they are clean, and only ONE function (up or down, but not both) is not working, then it's most likely a bad solenoid/relay.

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I traced the wires and they go to seperate relays wich seem to work, I have power to the connection out of the relay panel and in messing withwires and such the trim worked for 2 seconds. I checked all the wires broke and fixed connections and still have no movement, just clicking. The only thing I haven't tried is removing the lift motor. HOW!!!

Thanks

Still in search of boat help, serious about the hunting deal, 4 days to a week days in South Texas on a PRIVATE RANCH. I drive over every year, all you'll need to do is sit in my truck for 10 hours and bring your gun. You can take a look at the boat and tell me if its worth it. I can't spend the money right now and want back on the water. I need gel coat fixed and motor repaired.

Thanks

Check with the Maintenance Shoppe- they may not care to hunt but they can flat out rig a boat for utility and efficiency...
