The full moon didn't have any effect on us either.  We did have some small ones run on us, but all the keepers just laid there.  The water was awful dingy which made finding them tough.  Should have killed twice this many, but had to let my mom pick up some crabs!  The 3 biggest ones were right around 19-20 inches.
