macky cove is a good spot just not this time of year. early in the morning you can go down there and catch a bunch dinky trout and the occasional red but thats about it.
early in the spring and around mid to late august macky cove becomes a great spot for basically everything. we go wading on the flats over there for the reds and flounder.
