Got rained out last night but tonight is looking real good as far as the rain is concerned. The boat is hooked up and just waiting for dark thirty to get here. Not to crazy about the north wind were I wanted to go but im going anyway. May have to pack up and change locations. Hopefully I will have a decent report tomorrow. Good luck if you go tonight.

Report........ It sucked!!! Went to spot number one but never launched the boat. Water was to ruff. Wound up going to Navy Point and only gigged one 14 inch flounder..... that was the only flounder we saw in 5 hours. My buddy "Spear Chunker" was in his boat and he managed to come up with 5 flounder. Two of them were studs. He had a guy in his boat from Ohio and it was his first trip ever. Spear Chunker let him do all the gigging and that guy had a blast. He even fell out of the boat trying to restle the biggest one of the night into the boat. I think the boat was drifting off of the fish while he had him pinned down and he was trying to lean out to keep from losing the flounder. That plus the excitement was to much for the guy and over he went. Came up with the flounder though. We stayed till 12:30 and he had to be at the airport at 5:30 to head back to Ohio. I was kinda bumbed about only getting one flounder but the stories about the good time that the guy from Ohio had while fishing with Spear Chunker and him giving play by play action off how he fell out of the boat made it a great trip after all.

Pretty good report to me. Its all about the fun, well I'd like to bring home a few while we're out, but its the company and the hunt for us! I'd bail out of our boat for a stud too! I bet the next trip, you limit out! Wishin' I was fishin'!
