| Left out of Pensacola on the 17th and stayed at Scallop Cove . The first day limited out on some small Scallops and the second day found some large ones about the size of a quarter ( meat ) took most of the day looking for them. Then on the 3rd day we found the mother load we were in about 6 feet of water put my mask ,snorkel and fins on and went into the water and something to behold Scallops were everywhere on the sandbar. It was so much fun diving down and trying to get five at one time. I had to laugh at myself running out of breath and that one big is still there for the taking come up to get a breath of air and go back down to get the other one and see 3 or 4 more just out of reach. Everyone in our party limited out in about an hour . What a day it was for us but had to pack up today as the weather was deteriating pretty quick could have stayed till Sunday watching it rain but thought it better to watch it here at home. A friend of mine that was with us could not dive down that far because of health reasons thought of this got a life jacket and a crab net and just started scooping them up with the crab net so if someone cannot swim that well this is a great idea. By the way he got his limit just as quick.

| Yeah... We stayed at the St Park about 9 days.. Went out and scallop 6 days and limited out every day. Deep water on a low tide! It was still anywhere from 7+ deepwater on a low tide (where we found the biggest ones) and that was where the bigguns were... Lock into the GPS and your set! Every bit of a quarter size! There we probably between 8-12 of us that would limit out each time we went out, pretty much! Awesome!!! I would fill my big bag, and use the weight of it to help pull me down to the bottom. So... I know what you mean, trying to stay down long enough to pick up all the ones that you can see. Then trying to get to the top, before running out of air, only to hurry back down. We also was able to fry up a good bit of fresh mullet, often. Glad to know, someone else had some good luck, and fun finding them as well!
To all my PFF friends........ known as Kritzzzas we get older, we forget our username, password, and email address..... Then ya just got to start over with the "mopbucket"

| That is so funny, last year we had to dive deep for them, I think my brother Casey holds the record for 12 in one dive. It hurt my lungs but it was a blast. We are leaving early on Thursday for this years trip, I dont want to think about what Fay is doing for the scallops. O well I guess we will see. I will post a report when I return on Tuesday. Colt
