Despite the wind and seas, I gpt "cabin fever" and went to the Pass and Ft. Pickens to fish yesterday. There was not one single boat out there until about 4 PM.
The swells were big in the Pass, so I retreated to Ft Pickens area. The shoal held a school of fair sized ladyfish that produced some fun and frustration(so soft a mouth). The fish finder showed some action, but no results. We hooked a nice white jig witrh a chunk of manhaden and let it hit botton in the deep channel south of Pickens hoping for grouper or bull reds, but nothing.
Then we worked the old concrete dock with the menhaden and had no takers. We had hoped the storm had stirred up bait and attracted the fish but it did not seem so.
Did anyong catch anything anywhere yesterday???

| Thanks for the report. I was sure hoping you were going to tell us that you found some grouper pushed in the bay. I heard that some grouper were caught around the Navy Base but that is strictly hearsay. Friday looks good so it will be interesting to see just what is out there.

| I fished Blackwater Bay yesterday with no joy. Wind was an issue but even in the spots I have been consistent there as nothing happening. I'll try again tomorrow.
