| I have a merc 9.9 thats only a year old. I was out the other day and was cruising along wide open and it started to cut out like it wasn't getting enough gas but the engine didn't stop running. I putted back to the ramp and now it wont even idle. It runs for a little while on choke but not like it is supposed to. I changed the plugs but stillthe same. any suggestions.

| One thing to check is the squeeze ball on your fuel line. I had a friend and his was dry rotted and had a small hole and his engine didn't run right. Ted

| If it runs better, even though not great, with the choke, then there is a restriction of some sort in the fuel. May have sucked something into the carb. Be glad to look at if you are close to Navarre.
