| Does anyone know where I might find a gas cap for a 1 1/2 hp Johnson outboard? (1969) My grandpa gave me an outboard that he bought brand new. It probably has 5 hours on it and looks brand new. When he gave it to me, I put it in the back of my truck but had to slam on the brakes on the way home, causing the motor to slide forward, breaking the plastic gas cap. (Go figure I have it 30 minutes and break something on it) I've been told that it should be fairly standard as they used the same parts for 10+ years-but I don't know where to start looking in the area. (I have the manual that came with it and have the part number if it would help) Any help is appreciated...

Do a search for "Antique Outboards".
Here's on example showing a selection of gas caps.
