1. Select and copy the url that you want to link to.

2. Go to to the topic that you want to make your post under and select the "add topic" or "add reply" 

3. Either paste the link or type any other text that you want to make into a hyperlink.  Highlight the text you want to become the link then on the panel above select the world with the link in front of it.  If you pasted and selected the url it will automatically insert the url into the text box, or if you selected a word then just right click and click paste and your url should appear in the text box.  Select OK then your url will be hyperlinked to the url you chose.

[As I was doing this everything I copied and pasted was already a hyperlink so I'm not sure why it doesn't work for others.  It is probably a simple setting so if anyone reads this and knows please pass it on.  In the meantime I will still post this incase it may help others.]
