I bought the Howa youth model at Academy with scope, for 400 and it is a beautiful thing, I have dropped everything that I have shot at!!! You could not take that rifle from me for sure.

I bought the Howa youth model at Academy with scope, for 400 and it is a beautiful thing, I have dropped everything that I have shot at!!! You could not take that rifle from me for sure.They also carry a Rossi and one other brand I cant remember the name but it is very reasonably price, a single shot however and I can tell you that a single shot will get the job done. I have never had to shoot twice ever. In fact I am thinking about picking up a single shot in a caliber that I dont have just in case I go hunt something bigger than white tail deer. I dont really have a reason, but I love the single shot accuracy. I learned to hunt (deer) with a single shot 30-06 with iron sights.
