110908 We hit 3 mile with Pinfish at about 6pm, boy it gets dark early. The bite was quick and lasted the whole time we were out there. We were on the East side. We were armed with some good size pinfish, DOA shad and Gulp shrimp. Right off the bat we kept catching those pre-historic looking ribbon fish. I heard they make good bait for kings so I kept 10 and froze them. We caught a bunch of trout, 2 slot reds at 25" and 6 Bulls, all over 33 inches, largest one was 39". It was a good night until about 11pm when the wind kicked up and it got choppy. The tide was high and really didn't move much at all from 6pm will 1130 when we left due to the wind and being out of pinfish. I was fishing the top with the pinfish with no weight.
Alittle late but here are the pics.
It is chilly out there but well worth it.
You catch some, you lose some but the beer will never say no or try to run away.
