| I was wondering if anyone knew what the average cost of rewiring a small boat (17ft CC) would be? Or just a ballpark figure. I'm considering purchasing a boat, but there's some corrosion on some of the electronics... Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

It depends on the boat and what needs to be done(how much wiring). You could spend $200 to $600. I would recommend taking a couple of pics of the boat and wiring, and then we can go from there. This way you can have a better idea of a min. and max. price depending on how much wiring is needed. once the project is started.

See what he would charge to come take alook at it with you... Or If you could take it to a shop and get an estimate..

$200 to $600 will not even get you started for a high quality job.
Here's some of my work.

Detail makes the job and detail takes time. The manufactures never seem to have enough mounting panels to do a clean job, unless your buying a high end boat. So panels must be built to mount everything on. That's the start and do it so screws are not exposed on the outside of the console to keep a clean look.
