| Well I felt a little funny when I showed up at Navy Point landing and there wasn't another truck in the parking lot......that may be a first for the 12th day of November! Wind was fairly strong out of the E-SE and the bay was pretty roughed up. We searched high and low with falling pressure and falling tides......to no avail. We gigged one lonely soldier who was making a mad dash to the Pass! Does anyone else believe that this has been an "off" year compared to the last 5-6 years of floundering in this area? I know we haven't really gotten the hard cold fronts that are associated with pushing the fish out each fall....but damn, it's been pretty slim pickens. The one we did get was the biggest one that I've gigged this fall..

| Nice fish! Too bad it's just one! I think they have been slim everywhere. I am fishing in the Perdio Pass and Fort Morgan area and the quantity of fish just don't seem to be here. I talked to a few who have done pretty good and I was lucky enough to find them last week, but most people I talked to are saying it's a slow year. One thing I have noticed, like the one you gigged, they are nice size fish. Good luck, hopefully, we will get them in the next few weeks before they are gone.
