About 10 years ago, I sold a truck and kept the winch off of it, it was an older Warn 8274, 8) some of the wiring was bad, and it needed a solenoid replaced, well I took it apart, got busy doin something else, and forgot about it, i found it in a milk crate in my shed the other day and would like to get it workin again, BUT, i am not the most mechanically inclined and cant remember how to put back together, would like to PAY someone to get it back goin again. its completely dismantled, I know it needs 4 new solenoids and to be wired and cleaned up, the motor was good when I took i apart so I am asuming that it still is. If anyone on here is up to it, let me know, or else its gonna go on ebay, (as is)

I rebuilt a different model Warn several years ago and it was farily easy with a schematic. Here is a link to your winch being rebuilt.

I rebuilt mine a while back.  I went ahead and installed a stronger motor, new constant duty solenoids, and synthetic line on the drum.  I'll see if I can find the wiring schematic.

Check out this info.

Ha!!  Just saw that it was posted above. This is the article that I used when rebuilding mine.  I went with the higher hp motor.  The 8274 is a great winch.
