| Kenny, Now that I caught you online and am thinking about it, what do you think about this illustration as an example on how to replace the seals on the helm of a hydraulic steering system? I am going to try and fix mine later this week and am pretty much going off this illustration. Does everything seem in order to you with it? I do not have a whaler, but I am not thinking that will matter. Thanks Jon Pinney http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/teleflexSeal.html

Yes that is a good example, just be very careful not to scratch the shaft... it will leak.... i usually get mine out with a blast of air.
Thanks for the tip on the air and confirming that everything looked legit with that illustration....
