Well to start off I just want everyone to know I am not New to Fishing, Have Been fishing all my life I am about to turn 44 this weekend,but all my fishing as been Inshore and I don't take my Boat no more than 15 mile's out,just me feel safer since I fish out Of a 18ft CC Triton,plus I respect the Gulf,anyway Can I catch Wahoo If I troll for them this close in, I have heard Of A few Being caught closer in But few and Far between,Just want to try something New This year . Thanks in advance for any Info !!

this time of year? i wouldnt think so. could be wrong though. i think we caught something like well over a dozen hooters last year within 10 miles of the beach....we throw lines in as soon as we clear the farewell buoy out of orange beach. you never know...
