I will be fishing the Destin Bridge on Saturday morning and I didnt know if anyone had any tips.  I have only fished this area a couple of times and had very little luck.  I will be using live minnows and shrimp if I can find them.  Any info at all would truly be helpful.  Thanks.

A bad day of fishing is better than any day at work. As long as you dont forget the beer.

Just don't fish between the no fishing signs....lol

I've never fished it but from what I've red, live shrimp next to the pilings may produce some Sheephead

Yup what Konz said, but for fun, go out to the end of the West Jetty.  It is a haul but there is no telling what you will catch.  There is always something there.  The East Jetty is easier to get to, but has not been as productive for me as the West Jetty.

as far ass the bridge goes use a #1 and 2 hook for sheepskeads and a 2/0 for redfish. floruocarbon leader and light line is the ticket for sheepheads

The best spots seemed to be right outside the "no fishing" signs with the west one producing more.  Drop down and be patient.  Bring heavy weights in case the tide is running out.  Live bait kicks dead bait's ass.  Bring a bridge net!

Fish the tide change and the water speed will be a lot easier to handle from the bridge.

Heck yea, Destin Bridge, March. Take a good shovel and scrape some barnacles off the cement piers and you'll get all the sheephead you can handle. IF, you can take others advice on catchin them. The chum WILL make em..well, appear.

ok, no picture!
