I've been fishing with Quantum for about 4 years now and I love the Cabo PT 30's, the Accurists and the Burners. I've found the Cabo PT 30 with a 7'0 ML Fenwick Techna AV rod to be the best set up I've ever fished.

RE: www.ericholstman.com is up and running!!

The site looks great , fantastic photos.I would'nt mind bringing my stepson on one of your inshore trips.

RE: www.ericholstman.com is up and running!!

Nice catch!! Just visited it from a previous post before seeing this one. Only suggestion would be to link your logo's in your signature from the forum to the site(s) if that's possible. Might get more traffic. But I suspect you will get more work than you want based on all your previous posts.

Thanks for posting and sharing:clap

RE: www.ericholstman.com is up and running!!

Great site:clap:clap

RE: www.ericholstman.com is up and running!!

great site eric :clap:bowdown

RE: www.ericholstman.com is up and running!!

Great job man, one of the best looking sites around.

How are you liking your Cabo setups? Ha!

Thanks. But how do you know when to use it. When you're in real shallow water, when even the slightest noise or movement spooks them? Calm shallow banks, mudflats, windward shore?

Or do you decide based on what the fish are doing, like not tailing, but with others, schooling into the drainage of a tidal canal?

RE: www.ericholstman.com is up and running!!
todd in the bay (6/9/2008)
That is absolutly terrific. We NOW have high expectations, Ha!
Hey Todd,
Deadsticking is a technique that is used when redfish get very finicky and will not eat a moving bait. This works best in areas that you know there are high concentrations of fish in shallow water such as potholes, troughs and sand banks. A Gulp! 4" Shrimp and 2" Gulp! Crabs are my deadsticking choices. Give it a try, they will eventually find it and eat it. It will save a very difficult day of artificial fishing.
As for releasing fish, I don't like eating fish that much so I release everything, except grouper and scamp, of course. Plus, if I kept everything I caught, what would you guys catch!!:poke
Thanks again!

RE: www.ericholstman.com is up and running!!

That is absolutly terrific.
