he's a guy from pensacola who builds custom rods...

his forum name is "linda&Ernie" (may be Ernie&Linda)

he can build you a set of bottom-bumping rods with those grips...

Asked Tim at Half Hitch today about these rods & come to find out, its a wooden wedge they can attach to a rod. :doh :doh I had no idea.. lol.. I thought they came that way or something - learned something new.. :) Thanks for the help!

half hitch in navarre has them too. unfortunatly they are pretty expensive and they only have those black half hitch special rods left....

last time i was at half hitch in destin they had a trash can full of them (not to throw away but just to hold them up)

Where can we find the bottom fishing rods like on the party / charter boats? They are simple-looking white rods with the funky grips. I'll attach a pic of what I'm talking about. There any stores around that sell these rods? Or whats the deal?
