Just checkin to see if anyone can, or knows someone who can cut "near perfect" 2 1/8" glass circles? I need at least 2 made....i'll have to double check the thickness, but I THINK its 1/8" or maybe a hair thicker!
I've tried to freehand a circle, but something that small is (to me) near impossible!:banghead
Any help or refrences would be GREAT!

Unix, NOT Eunuchs

When I told my wife a few years ago that I was interested in Unix, she thought I meant eunuchs and went hysterical. So, after she calmed down a bit, I explained that Unix was a computer operating system, not the neutered male variety mentioned in the Bible. Anyway, it was a tense moment.

I've been in the IT industry for over 15 years. Currently I work for a large health care company in the Pensacola area. I spend a significant portion of my time developing in a Microsoft SQL Server environment. Although I am happy with my employer, I believe I would be more technically satisfied working in a Unix or Linux environment.

Listed below is a brief summary of my education, skills, and experience:

WANTED: Hunting Land Lease - 1 family

Looking to lease a small hunting tract in the panhandle or south Alabama, the closer to Pensacola/Gulf Breeze the better. We will consider anything from 100-1000 acres, realisticly 200-400 is about the price range we are interested in.

The catch is the land has to have a barn, shed, lean-to, or structure of some kind as part of the lease, could be shared with a farmer or land owner. We have a camper, tractor, couple trailers, 4wheelers, UTV, implements, etc that need to be stored and used on the hunting land.

The good part is we are 1 small family and no guests, so you will know anyone coming and going on your land. Also you will get 1 check from 1 person and we are very credit worthy. In addition we are kind of spread out and most years will only hunt maybe 2 weeks out of the year.

Heirloom Game Calls

Some of you may have remembered back in the spring, my dad started making turkey calls as part of his cancer rehab. He has since taken off and even branched out into other game calls (buck grunts, elk bugles, predator calls, turkey calls, pig squealers, etc). PM me if you want some more details and I'll try to post his website on here later (he also is continually selling on Ebay). Average prices are around $20-30 dollars or so. He also has the calls custom laser engraved with anything that you want to have on them (great for advertising for your business, especially you guides:poke). I have a few of his calls around the house that I'll take pics of later and post up on here. Great calls that are easily adjustable to get the tone that you want, and some of the deepest buck grunts around, bar none!

Anyone need any concrete work or metal buildings erected?

Pensacola, Milton areas not a problem. Will consider other areas for the right jobs. I have a contract with a metal building company, so I can get the overall costs down. Just to give ya'll an idea on the prices, a 16X30 building with 1 roll up door, 1 walk door, and 2 windows including slab for under $11,000. That includes labor, materials, and the building is rated at 140 mph windload. I am very reasonable on the concrete work as well, for walkways, driveways, etc. I have references and photos of work that I have done in this area over the last few years. Keep in mind the building I mentioned earlier is the smallest building that I can order from the manufacturer, but there are many more larger sizes. An average building that I erect is usually 30X80. I have a leak around one of the bottom drains on my pool. The a**hole that put it in used about 9 layers of duct tape for a gasket. Now it has eaten away at the concrete underneath. or is it jus me. Don't recall it being this slow before. Know the economy is really bad but dang. Use to have 10 -15 calls a week. Now lucky to get 5. Buddy of mine moved to Iowa 2 weeks ago doing the same business carpet cleaning because he was struggling down here. He said it was booming in Iowa. He was going non stop since he got there. Wonder if it is just this area. Just my 2 cents.

metal roof repair needed

I have a 5V crimp style metal roof- 2 story house and a problem chimney-brick. The guys who installed this roof in 2006 have tried to fix this 2x and one year later we are leaking again. My attic has 8 foot of headroom and I can show someone exactly where the leak is (or at least where water is running through the decking underneath). I need a metal roof person who is willing to take on a repair job, actually talk to me in person when he looks at the roof, and give me some straight talk on what the problem is and is it realistically fixable or are we just looking at having to recaulk etc every 6 months and deal/expect leaks. I just don't want a bandaid solution if there are other options available. I understand that chimneys are problematic but I am willing to look outside the box for a creative solution if one exists. I would prefer someone who is experienced in metal roofing. You can PM me if you want. Thanks
