Six year old twin grandkids are coming in this week and want to do some fishing.
I don’t have a boat and don’t want to take them out on the PNS pier, so it will be surf fishing on PNS beach out in front of the condo.
I usually fish for Pomps with sand fleas but it is late in the season now, and I know the pomps are hard to come by.
I just want them to see a few fish get caught (preferably not cats) and let them feel something tugging at the other end of the line. What bait will give me the best chance of getting something to bite in the surf this time of year?
Thanks for any help or advice anyone can give.
