The sound should be hopping right now, and there are fish around, but it's not lights out like I think it should be.

Put my 1st top water cast out about 6:15am, on the 2nd cast wham, 2.5lb trout, nice fight!

3 waders and 2 other boats close by not catching anything, I think I made them sick !

Drifted a little, and put a long downwind top water cast in the vicinty but not on top of one of the anchored boats, WHAMMMM, Red on, 4.5 pounds, lots of fighting and splashing, I heard this loud "Well Shit" come from a boat! OUCH! Note 2 casts later, my she-dog broke loose at the knot on a cast, as I went to retrieve it, whack a fish hit it and it was gone!

After that it slowed, saw a couple of flounder boated and one 20" red, that was it, so I moved.

Hit  a spot on the way back, couple of shory Reds and Specs!

All fish released except for the one decent red.

Might be better tommorrow, think I 'm heading west!

Love it when you pee on others close by, just makes you feel like the man.  Sounds like a good morning.  Top water for me this weekend.

Looks like your fishing around my favorite little "Deep Hole". the white house in the background of your last picture is where my Father lives(Dantheman). I have caught quite a few reds there this year so far. None in the slot though!!!

 Nice pictures and great post.

Oh by the way. That 300 Yammy looks awesome sitting up high on the Jack plate

I've rephrased that report, I did not cast on top of anyone, I was well outside their range, and they were fishing on the bottom with live bait on the other side of the boat. And we actually had a pretty friendly chat about fishing before we both left. The fishing area was compact but their was plenty of room between us.
