Mine is a Kidney Stone.  I will never forget that for the rest of my life.  I truly thought I was on my death bed, and it seemed nothing could be done to releave the unbelievable pain.  I had to have surgury, and asked the doctor to tell me what to do or not to do to never have that happen to me again and I would do whatever he said.

What is the worst pain you have ever felt?

When I woke up in the middle of my Vasectomy right as they were pulling out the cord to cut.  Thank God for Morphine!

Second was when the wife pulled the packing out of my nose after major rebuild surgery.

Kidney stones do hurt LOTS, had them twice. Pain that makes you start puking as you pass them. But they are over relatively quickly; a matter of hours (mine were anyways). Shingles was the worst I have had, 3 months of utter cannot sleep from the pain hell.

Without a doubt my first Kidney Stone. I also thought I was going to die. I've had several since but there is nothing like experiencing that pain for the first time. Ouch!!!! I now keep some pain medicine at the house at all times so when one creeps up I have something to knock it down a notch. I just hope I don't ever get one when I'm 30-40 miles out in the Gulf.
