Put the boat in at 6:00am in Navarre. Fished docks on the north side from Navarre bridge heading west for about 3 miles. Caught a 25 1/2 in trout 5.2lbs and several reds. Saw lots of reds this morning but you had to be patient in order to get them to bite. My biggest two wieghed 10.5lbs. Saw lots of bigger fish but only got to fish for about 2hrs. I had to get to work.

Awesome catch Brant!! Thats a pig of a trout. Not sure what the deal is but I have been seeing, catching and it seems like a lot of other people are catching a bunch of stud trout this summer.

 Awesome job bro!!!!!!

Brant,

New here to the forum and enjoyed your post. I have been coming to Navarre on business and pleasure since 1972...I have seen a lot. I have also fished the area for that long. May I ask what you were using. I see a gold spoon in one shot...anything else! I am coming down shortly and would also like to hit that structure and the grass beds. Thanks!

Nice report Brant.  Good luck to you this Saturday in the IFA.  Looks like you getting an A on your homework...

Is that a Johnson spoon in the 2nd pic?
