Tom Kelly, Thomas Kelly (his 16 year old son), Phillip White and myself left daybreak at 8:45 headed out to the bridge rubble. We were about 5 miles out of the pass and the Port motor alarm kept going off. I did not fill the oil resevoir up before left because I simply forgot...I have been boating for years and have never forgotten since the first time many years ago. I said if the alarm went out again, we were gonna stay in...well it did, and we only had one motor . We had 50 dollars in frozen cigs, 60.00 dollars in live cigs, and a 16 year old boy that was ready to bow up...no way I was going back in. We got to a spot 3 miles off of our path and anchored up. We were just gonna have to leave 2 hours sooner so we could get back. There was a guy in a cape horn anchored up. I got within shouting distance and asked him if I could buy a gallon of oil from him...he said he did not have any. Oh well, thanks anyway! We anchored up, my first hit was another Gag Grouper . He was about 1/2 inch shorter than the one last week. My guest caught their limit and mine of Snapper, they also caught trigger, and spanish. we had a great cooler full of fish. Thomas did a great job. You are definitely the new deckhand for the Graymack. When we got back to Daybreak, Tom added 2 gallons of oil to the resevoirs and the motors seem to run fine. Thanks to the guys at the fish cleaning tables for the Scamp throats. I do not have the pics. Tom Kelly took pics and will email them to me. Tom, if you are reading this, these guys on the forum want pics. Talk is cheap LOL.Thanks again to my guest for making it a great day despit the engine trouble.

| I also carry extra oil, but if I forget Boat US will bring a gallon if you are a member. I only have one motor so without oil I am without power! Sounds like you guys had a great day regardless of the oil problem. But, how did you catch so many Snapper...........I thought they were a totally endanger species now. My wife says I don't have to drink like a fish to think like a fish........I think she's wrong!!
