SATURDAY MORNING AT THE MASSACHUSETTS: 6-8 AM -- the water was quite rough and unpleasant, big swells and white caps. There was not much bait around and the big party boats looks like they were having trouble finding bait. This morning ther 4-5 boats there didn't catch even one king whearas 2 days ago the Mass was covered with kings and dozens were taken as well as huge jack crevelle. Today a few huge jacks were skyrocketing right on top of the wreck, but would not bite. So goes the saying -- here today, gone tomorrow!

Pull up to the buoys (within 15 feet) and put out your lines. The kings have been sticking close to the buoys but not the mass, I think because the mass gets hammered. Be ready to go because when one hits, 3-4 will hit shortly thereafter.

I was out there friday, same conditions but the bite was slow. Managed to bring home two kings and one spanish. Put about four small kings back.
