| Hey I am going to navarre this forth of july week and I was wondering if anyone knows some really good locations to fish at? I will only be able to use a boat fishing for one day and the rest will have to be on foot. Am i just looking for big grass flats early in the morning and late at night? I hear live shrimp works well for reds and trout but does anyone reccomand any specific lures? I have some bash topwater lures but I dont know if those will work well. Thanks for any help.

| Put in at Juana's and go across the bay a few miles west of Navarre bridge and fish the grass flats early in the morning with topwater. Also fish the Navarre bridge with gulps and suspended rattlin rogues.

If you mean like a Zaro Spook, the answer is yes, just beware of what sizes you try to use and the conditions you're trying. Also, good luck trying to find live shrimp. If that's in your game plan, plan on something else. You MAY be able to get some bull minnows from some of the tackle shops, but I'd practice with my cast net for bait if I was you unless you want to stick to the artificials.
You can run, but you'll only die tired!
