We have been planning a trip fishing trip for this weekend for a while and it just happenned to fall on the same day the Blues are flying. How bad will the ramps be Saturday? I usually put in at Bayou Texar. I'll probably head out in the wee hours of the morning anc come in around noon. Anyone forsee any issues?

We're going to try it too. I think getting out early will avoid the casual boaters. We're putting in at shoreline, and I'm not sure how crowded the parking lot will be. Depends on how many people put in the night before.

true-king (7/10/2008) We're going to try it too. I think getting out early will avoid the casual boaters. We're putting in at shoreline, and I'm not sure how crowded the parking lot will be. Depends on how many people put in the night before. You better get there really, really early and come back really, really late. Shoreline is the closest ramp to the sound and will be packed because of the Blues. It will be a mad house.
