| Just got back from Orange Beach and saw this. Your wife and you are in my prayers. My wife and I went through a similar scare a couple of years ago. Prayer got us through that one.

| Tuna Man, I don't know you personally like others here but have enjoyed your many forum post and will keep you and Susan in my prayers. My sister just went through the same procedure just this week with positive results and wish Susan the same. The scare is definitely taxing on all love ones during this time. I kept the focus on the positive and hope to get through it. Again you have my household prayers. God grant you and your family peace during this difficult time. Jimmy

wilddove (7/20/2008) I Hope the test come back with good news I will keep her in my prayersSame here Ron. Hopefully it is just a fatty deposit/build-up around a nerve. Like what my wife had removed about 7 years ago. And all will be good.

| Well in the hospital for the biopsy at 7:15 this morning. Got a surprise at about 10:45 and that was... Let me start that in the doctors office the other day he said he was going to take a biopsy, well I've had one done a few years ago and they went in and cut a couple of pieces off the organ and sent to the lab for the "biopsy". I didn't really know that there was two kinds of biopsy's done.. When only a sample of tissue is removed, the procedure is called an incisional biopsy or core biopsy. When an entire lump or suspicious area is removed, the procedure is called an excisional biopsy. When the doctor went in for a tissue sample he saw that he could do a excisional biopsy and MOST likely got EVERYTHING that needed to be removed, but we will know tomorrow afternoon after the results get back to him mid-morning. Total tissue taken out was about the size of a golf ball. You have to understand the humor both Susan and I have about things..see we are very open minded. Her right WAS larger then her left...now maybe both will about the same size. A couple of funny things have happened the last few days. Friday while in the doctors office, Susan and the nurse were talking about the problem with Susan's knee. The (rather young pretty) nurse was telling Susan that her problem is common in women and the reason being is that their feet turn in more then men. With hearing that I snickered, and said I know why. They looked at me and I jestered with my hands as feet and arms as legs and crossed them and made a motion of clinching down. The poor nurse turned a bright red and laughed. Well today after the surgery the doctor told her that she would be a little sore for a few days. She asked him how sore??? Like a paper cut or like when you have sex till you can't walk. Needless all attending staff was in a uproar. All looks great, will find out tomorrow afternoon if additional procedures are necessary...just from looks he doesn't think so, but needs the cell results. I want to thank each and everyone for both their prayers and support. May GOD bless each and everyone..we never know what will be put on our plate tomorrow.

Coppied from a E-Mail Susan sent out...... NOT CANCER! Good News....benign....but he says to leave anything there would be taking chance on a time bomb. Options: I have two - (1) he can take out all of the milk ducts and I would have to have radiation (because no way to be sure all of the ducts are out as they narrow throughout the tissue), but would be missing about 2/3 of my breast and would be disfigured, or (2) simple mastectomy, no chest wall muscle or lymph nodes involved, and no radiation as this would be sure way all bad tissue is removed. Surgeon wants me to wait at least 2 weeks for healing, but would want me to do something by mid to late August. Have the option of reconstruction surgery as well and to help me decide I have appointment 8-8 with plastic surgeon who will go over those options, then I can make a final decision and go from there. So very thankful and want you all to know I appreciate your thoughts and prayers. I will keep you posted on my final decision. Thank you all for being there for me. I love you all. Susan

| That is outstanding news Susan and I wish you the best of luck with what comes next. I do have to say though that when I first started reading the update I was thinking "Holy Cow Ron Has Milk Ducts!"
