| Wes, are you going cold turkey off some needed medication? Have you not heard? McCain is a liberal republican, can you figure out what that makes him? I love it that your straight up self loves to see lies posted about a candidate if it suits your outlook/desires. If you aren't on meds, please look in the yellow pages under psychologist/psychiatrist and make an appointment.

You know what I like the most about these discussions? It's the liberal vs conservative bs.
There is no such thing as a conservative anymore and those of us who are traditional/Adam Smith liberals are more conservative than most, if not all, of the republican politicians.
Someone start a thread discussing what liberals vs conservatives means and I'd love to see the responses, but I'll suggest this:
Conservatives don't borrow money from commies. Conservatives do not oppose conservation of resources or efficiency. Conservatives do not involve themselves with the private lives of citizens. Conservatives do not exchange security for freedom.
Liberals do not believe we should give free stuff to the lazy. Liberals don't support stupid energy policies. Liberals do not support subsidizing corporate welfare.
Those are all things democrats and republicans do. What ever happened to Americans who are interested in America?

| Wos, I do not want either Obama or McCain. I just cannot, like others, condone the promulgation of flat out lies in an attempt to influence the outcome of the election. We are not talking political preferences here, rather basic moral principles. You clearly stated that you were in favor of false information promulgated to influence the outcome of the elections. How can you, an avowed Christian, condone lies falsely published? Your post makes it clear to me that you favor any tactic to defeat Obama. End of rant.

| whalersailor...simple...there is no morales in politics...there for no sin...lies are part of politics. if you want to stand and wait for the GOOD MEN to come forward and lead you in this country...please do not hold your breathe. i on the other hand will do what ever i have to do to make sure my way of life and my childrens way of life is not taken away...even if i have to physically fight for it. i think mccain is the lesser of two evils...you may think ron paul is your man...if so vote for him. that is why you live in a free counrty...FOR NOW! as for the christian thing...being that i am catholic...if it were a sin it would be a venial sin...i do not have to confess that sin but i do spend time in purgatory...so your christian thing does not hold water here. also remember we must keep religion and government seperate....right? tight lines!
