My younger brothers got in town the other day and have been wanting to catch a big shark. So i went and got 2 good set ups for it. My question is would it be better to wade out a little bit and cast or should i take my yak and take the baits out to drop and if so how far out?  I wasnt sure on where to go but i read on here that alot of you guys talk about chicken bone. So hopefully it will be as good to me as it was to you others. But any help you can give would be apriciated.

definitely take the yak. What kind of rods are you using? If you can, drop the baits in between the sandbars. How late are you going to be out there for? I might do some sharkin after i get off work
