We are coming down to fish wdnesday and Thursday this week, expect offshore to be out of the question. Have never fished inshore and would appreciate some recommendations on where, for what and with what...

We were thinking of running up the intercoastal up to Pensecola and hanging arounfd the inlet.. I saw some posts where folks had caught some grouper trolling.. have never fished for Reds and would not where to start but would appreciate any info.. we have a 26' walk-around with twin 200Hp Suzukis

If it were me, I'd run Pensy and fish live bait around the jetties. Fish the tide, and you can hardly miss on reds.

Near Orange Beach, fish the channel at night under the bridge. The trout are are there. Fish early under the lights on Ono Island, using a croaker or shrimp. A friend even caught a tarpon.

Flounder are around almost any dock. Use a mud minnow or gulp jig.
