A friend PMed me and told me the thing he has lost that he remembers being upset most about was a all the men to his Superbowl Football game.  You may remember the steel top football feild game that had plastic players and the top vibrated and the players moved around out of control.  Well he lost his players, Dang that's bad.  Could you imagine only having the vibrating steel playing surface.....Uhhhhh Thats bad.

Anyway, I am picking on him now.....

What was your favorite childhood Toy or Game?

When I was about 4 yrs old I got a toy chainsaw for Christms. You pulled the rope and it made a cool saw noise, I cut down everything with that saw!

I got a model crane set for Christmas back in the 70's. That was one of the best toys I can remember getting. I think Dad played with it as much as I did.

Matchbox cars...Hot wheels......BB gun.....Sled......Bike...Lincoln Logs....

Not really a toy but we had a rope swing at our cabin on Spring river in the Ozarks that was Awesome....It was on a huge Sycamore tree hanging out over the river...I saw a lot of guys and girls climb the steps to swing off and chicken out....The rope was 45 feet long, you had to go up steps on the trunk of the tree about 20' or so..

i had a "green machine" big wheel. you know the one with the e-brake on the side that allowed you to do power slides. i use to ride those things so much that i would split the plastic tires down the middle. my parents use to buy me 2 a year until i got old enough to start riding bicycles. then i moved up to haro and redline bikes. then motorcycles. i didn't play with toys much. (although i did have a few transformers for the rainy days)

I had several Green Machines.  I would power slide until one of the wheels had a flat slide from wear, and I would continue to ride it Kadoonk....Kadoonk....Kakooonk.....Kadoonk......Kadooonk.....Kadooonk.....Kadoonk....Until My mom would get me a new one.  I loved that thing too.

we didnt have much growin up, i always wanted a big wheels or evile knievel set. my neighbor had all that. got to play with his stuff and liked it, but the MOST fun i had with a "toy" was a home-made  dragon-fly slayer. just a sawed off broomstick handle with a clothes line pin and rubberbands!! that made for hours of fun. oh yeah, we always had the skinny wooden skewers for shish ka bobs around, they made great arrows, they would only sink in about 1/8-1/4 inch or so.

Toys?!! We were too poor for toys.  Momma would just cut holes in our pockets so that we could have something to play with.

Clay. Had a huge tub of clay. That combined with Lincoln Logs. Made a ton of buildings, streets, whole damn towns. It was really good for moding the hot wheels and any other toy for that matter. You favorite hotwheel not have a hood scoop? Add one...lol
