| I love music, all music. Last night there was a bunch of posting about guitars, and AC/DC. I saw AC/DC when I was in 7th grade, and still today I think I was way too young to go to an AC/DC concert, but I loved it. I have seen many bands in concert, but two stand out. ZZTop in Tallahassee was the loudest by far and they put on a great show. Van Halen was the best party concert and crowd I have ever seen to date. I seen them in Atlanta, It was really like 75000 people showed up to party together including the band. I don't think there was anyone there that didn't have an absolute HUGE time, including Alex VanHalen. I know someone that was at "The Dance" when Fleetwood Mac performed it live. I understand it was magic as it took place. He said it was like they never missed a day playing together, and they were so good it was like he was listening to a recording. I wish I could have seen that, when it happened. Lindsey Buckingham is Great. What was the best Concert you have ever been to?

Hank jr. and the CDB in the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. There was a couple of other bands there, but these two were why I was there. That was one rowdy concert. I think it was in 97.

Hands down the best was Faith no more, Metallica, and Guns n roses. It was in the early 90's in New Orleans.

| Back in the day I caught a lot of good concerts in Mobile. That was BCC (before civic center) The best I ever saw was Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top and the Atlanta Rythym Section at one concert, a truly awesome once in a life time event for a southern rock fan. Just for the record, the worst concert I ever attended was KISS at the Mobile Expo hall. It was so obnoxiously loud and annoying I walked out and I was only 17!!!!!! at the time.

When KISS reunited and went back in makeup at the New Orleans superdome. AC/DC absolutely rocked the civic center also. So many good one's it's hard to decide.
Kilroy was here!

| The best concert I ever attended was ZZ TOP at the old municipal auditorium. It was their first big tour. This was way before the long beards that became their trademark look. Absolutely incredible. Words can not describe the sound those three guys can put out. After the show they went down to the Night Owl on Palafox street and jammed. I saw the Doobie Brothers on their first tour in Mobile. That concert was unbelievable and very sparsely attended. Then I guess Molly Hatchet at the Municipal Auditorium would be my third choice.

Nov 2nd, (I think) 1982 while home on leave. Jimmy Buffett in Mobile. Last concert of his year and homecoming. Gods Own Drunk lasted close to 30 minutes. 4 encores. This was back when he was good.

| OK, gotta get some geezer concerts in here, I rank the Eagles concert at the DuQuoin State fair in IL as one of the very best I have seen. I have seen Willie and Waylon at Red Rocks in Denver in the late 60's and I must have attended every Willie concert at the same DuQuoin fair for at least 8 or 9 years running!! He gave you your money's worth and then included the tip!!! He played straight through each concert with no breaks or backup band to take over and went through at least 30 sweaty bandanas which he tossed out into the screaming crowd! That old country boy was electrical in person in my opinion. And then there was the cream of the crop, .................... Woodstock in 1969!! That wasn't so much a concert as a "happening" in the history of rock 'n roll. "Good morning, what we want to do is have breakfast in bed for a half million people!!" Yeah, that was rock at its finest!! We used to have some kickass outdoor rock festivals at Southern IL University at Edwardsville, IL after the Woodstock era called the Mississippi River Festivals but I can't remember who played or when I left the grounds!!! You brought your own folding lawn chair, cooler, and doobies and let it all hang out!!! Heck, I got high just off the second hand smoke at some of those "feistyivals"!! They finall closed them down because of the fights and the drug use. But that was back in the days when you still had some freedom to do stuff that was "fun"!?!?

Hands down best concert I have ever seen would have to be Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra in 2004 when the Gatlins were back together after 10 years and Larry had his throat surgery.

Early 90's, Styx reunited to do the Paradise Theater tour with Tommy Shaw. I think Kansas was the opener. Styx was awesome singing all their old music.

| You have to be a RUSH fan to appreciate it, and have listned to all the music they have created that has never hit the radio waves. They put on a professional, awesome show. Unreal for 3 guys.
