Well guys lets call this a wake up call or devine intervention but...I am leaving Live Bait at the Wharf to pursue my true calling as a caterer and business owner. I did it sucsefully in Birmingham and I am going to do it here in the Gulf Coast as well. I am leaving Live Bait with diginity and good blessings. My bosses are very excited about projects on the horizion. for me. Anyway I have bid on a FEMA contract in Mississippi and while I cannot discuss the details at this time I will be looking for a few good people to help me over there for 6 months if I get the job.

If I do not get the job then I will implement plan B of my catering ideas on here on this forum. Mostly fishing events, in home dinner parties, beach weddings and other great and exciting things. I have many friends here that I am sure will be shocked by the news. I myself am shocked that I had the courage to leave such a wonderful job. Live Bait at the Wharf is a great dining experience and I hope that the info I have left behind will keep them tops in Orange Beach.

Anyone have any experience with FEMA contracts please pm me. This is a foodservice contract.

Anyone looking to book events pm me with those as well...The old phrase no size catering is to big or to small applies here as well

1-6billion I can do it!

Good Luck. I have no experience with FEMA catering contracts. However, I have a great deal of experience not getting paid by FEMA for otherwise properly executed contracts. I hope your situation is different, but never again will I invest my time and money to help FEMA. They make the Corps of Engineers look efficient by comparison.
