When I hear pundits and politicians say that we are now winning the war in Iraq, what does this "winning" mean? Clearly the government's intentions in the war has changed alot over time-(there were no WMDs, Mission Accomplished five years ago, near civil war) but I don't think that there has ever been a clear definition of victory for our country. I guess we have now set a timetable to leave, so is withdrawal what we means we have won? I am really worried about what is being left behind. I hate that we ever messed around in Iraq. We should have eliminated the damn Taliban away in Afghanistan, and now we need troops there that are in that damn money grab in Iraq. What a cking sham that was pulled over us by Bush starting that damn war for his buddies. I think they are the only winners, oh yeah, and all those other terrorist raising Islam nut-job countries that sell us most of our $4 gas. Winning. Heh. I just met a guy the other day that was going back in 2 weeks on his second tour. He was not happy about it at all, but he's a soldier will give us all his best and I wish him nothing but a safe return.

BTW I bet alot of y'all might think I'm some left winger or Democrat or something. Naw, just smart enough to see how they lied and deceived us with fear, and now we're in big debt to the Chinese and the economy is in the crapper. I am at least smart enough to listen to that Obama guy and compare it to what McCain says. I don't trust the Republicans anymore.

sorry to vent.
Fish on...

are you friggin kidding me?

I am 200% behind the troops
they are stuck in a camel piss filled sandbox where they cannot touch clerics or any obvious targets, all while Haliburton and numerous other companies reap billions....please re-think that response and get back to us
