Went out fishing Tiger Point area this morning from about 9 to 12 and caught 1 23" Red 1 rat red and 1 21" Cobia. Camera crapped out so I didn't get a pic of the Red but hope you can see the pics of the cobia.

| Thanks guys. Yea I guess the fish just couldn't turn down some fresh cut mullet and I was able to get some pics of the red after the trip.

Nice! We caught a little one on the flats across from Big Lagoon boat ramp not too long ago.

GREAT REPORT AND PICS!
I presume you were in a boat so my question is how are you fishing that area? Some drift 200+ yards from shore over the grass flats, some work the docks, some use artificials, live pinfish, Gulp....which bait have you found most productive......Thanks again

| Thanks. Yes I was in my boat and I was actually anchored in about 4' of water between 2 piers fishing outward. I seen the cobia pushing the water on top but thought it was a spec. I've had the best results using fresh cut mullet. For some reason I can't give away a finger mullet away but if I fillet it out and put it on a hook I almost always catch something. Pinfish do a # on it so have plenty of mullet pieces if you use it. This weekend I'm going to try some bigger pinfish along with the cut mullet and just wait for the big red. I seen a huge one but couldn't get him to bite.
