I'm In! Someone might have to remind me! I am hardcore support of blood drives after everything with my son, DJ. I saw too many kids dying in the hospital because of a blood shortage.
 DJ was our GREATEST CATCH! My Hero! He gave us all hope, even when circumstances were bad, he just wanted to fish.

| BUMP,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Looks like this is gonna be a busy Weekend with lots of folks doing the camping and fishing thing and enjoying this cooldown that we all wait all summer for. Hopefully it will work out so that on the way out everyone can swing by and give blood I would imagine that there will be ample parking for rigs pulling trailers alongside the roadway. Hope to meet a few kind faces saturday....................Dennis

| Hey Kenny, Wish I could give blood, but they will not take it from us Olde Phartz over 65. However, anyone who does give blood and comes over to Ft. McRee, I will give them a cold beer.

| Ok everyone, tomorrow is the day for the "hopefully" annual Pensacola Fishing Forum/Emerald Coast Marine Blood Drive,,, there will be a free raffle for everyone who donates blood, there are several items to be raffled which means more than one winner, every donor recieves a free gift,, there will be free hot dogs starting around 10:30, and free refreshments to everyone, this is also going to be our End of the Year Blow Out Sale,,, so anyone looking for a boat, please come on in and lets talk,, We will have some specials in the store, Please come on down and lets make this an event worth repeating for the Blood Services..

| Wow, what a day,,, I am pleased to announce we had a fantastic turn out, at last count we had over 31 pints of blood,, and i cooked about 90 hot dogs.. didnt sell much inside the store but that is all good... I would like to announce the winners of the free raffle, Jonathon Jones = cooler Chrintine Roy= 50 dollar gift certificate Drew Stroud = cooler and a big thanks to all who attended, this was a worth while event. cant wait till next time...

April and I enjoyed it. It was great to see everyone. The loss of blood helped me in my drinking tonight  LOL It was realy great and we feel good about having done a good thing. Thanks Kenny for hosting it and Johnathan for the help and support you put it. They would be two pints shy if it wasnt for you!

A BIG thank you to all the forum members and guest who participated in the blood drive. What a great turnout we had. It far exceeded my expectations. Special thank you to Emerald Coast Marine for being so gracious to allow use of there business for the event and to Flounder Assassin for all his help with providing the beverages. | Hello everyone, I'd like to take a moment thank each and every one of you for making Saturday's blood drive the huge success that it was! 32 donors stepped up to the plate to give blood, and out of those sign-ins, we were able to collect 31 units of blood for patients in our area hospitals! Because one unit of blood can help save 3 lives, up to 93 lives were affected by your act of generosity! Thanks once again to Mitch for coming to us with the idea for the Pensacola Fishing Forum Blood Drive--and a terrific idea it was! Thanks to Kenny and his team at Emerald Coast Marine for letting us bring the bloodmobile to his place of business--a very impressive shop--they even do computer repair! Last but not least, a huge thanks to everyone who took the time to give the gift of life. Your contributions helped others more than you'll ever know. Hope to see you all again soon!
