put a fuel water seperator on and filled with fuel started to pump ball but cant get any fuel to pull through, have no air leaks everything is tight. what do I do to get it through. thanks for help.

Remove the filter and fill it 3/4 full of fuel and try again.

How much time did you spend pumping it and where is the ball in the system in relation to the filter? Before or After the filter?

Might also check to see if the pump bulb is in backward (if it was removed).  Happened to me once.   Duh

filled cannister all the way full  before I put it on and the pump is past the filter in the right direction.

if this was a new unit make sure you have fuel lines run correct inlet & outlet.

It is better to have the primer bulb before the filter, between tank and filter. This way the bulb is pulling straight from the tank.
