| A couple of nights a week a large airplane circles Pensacola for hours. Does anyone know if this is the airforce or navy and what they are doing?

| most likely a Herc out of Hurlbert field. There's lots of flight training going on here. I doubt it's a T-34C because our training flights don't last for "hours." Big brother is watching...muahahah

| they are flying right now. Flyboy used to be on them last year. sometimes they come here from Jacksonville and Eglin. I think flyboy said they use Pensacola's airspace to practice instrument landings because there isn't much air traffic around here after dark. Last year I thought a plane was in trouble and dumping fuel before an emergency landing but I got the real story from PFF.
