Torque I think is what your looking at   Good reels... light weight good drag, Torsa better but costly.

for an extra 100 bucks, you could get a Shimano Trinidad... way better IMHO.

The handle rattles and they dont seem solid. Other then that they seem ok. Go with Shimano

Shimano Trinidad... has the star drag, just like the Torque.

i personally wouldn't want a lever drag (like a torsa) on a jigging rod... all it takes is one little tap on that drag and it's locked down and the line pops.

Yeah, I'd say go with the trinidad over the penn torque, I've heard very good things from them. Besides, I'll take shimano over penn any day.

Go with the Trinidads! Have 4 of them, fish them hard and no problems. Have 1 114 HLW left and when it quits I'm done with Penn.

i fished a torque 300 all summer and after about 2 weeks i could put it in freespool anymore! the lever was corroded! i rinse all my stuff after every trip and never had something like that happened to me. half hitch fixed it but thats the last expensive penn reel. i would go with the trinidad or ocean jigger if you get a hand on one!!

The only thing about Shimano is its a b%$%& to work on them.

Look at Fin-nor's offshore series of conventional reels. They are b-a reels.  The largest one made is a OFC30H.
