Louisiana Hot Sauce and Tabasco! Although technically not really a hot sauce, try out Tiger Sauce as well. I almost substitute it for anything I would normally use Ketchup on. Mildly hot and not too spicy. Very tasty to marinate steaks, chicken and fish with. Grocery stores around here usually have it as well.

First off, as fine as the Indian Pass oysters are, ours in East bay are as good if not better.

WE dive them -up so to speak and they are as good as they get. I started eating oysters traveling the coastal roads of Florida when I was  a boy 50 yrs ago shucked at $ 00.19/ dozen... I'm old... Life is good . I still dive ... An old "tonger " last week said he was 81 and ought to take up diving for them!!!

That is too cool! I remember eating my first in Ft.Walton around the age of 12 yrs of age with my dad and ate 6 dozen. It has become an obsession.Too bad the Raw Bar did not have a bag to sell.

I like "Pain is Good" or "100% Pain" by Original Juan (www.originaljuan.com)

Really hot, but habanero based, not synthetic (capstacin).

The one that 'Peg Leg Pete' has there label on.   I had to stuff a bottle in my ol lady's purse after I tried it.    It is hot like louissiana hot sauce but a better after taste.  I drank a bottle of it with a box of raw oysters in one sitting.

Also if any one knows what the store brand of the peg leg sauce is please let me know.

Fish On!!!

I like Texas Pete too but if you want to try something a little different try Pickapeppa.  It's Jamaican.  They have hot sauce and just plain sauce that you can put on anything. Good stuff.

Dave's Insanity Sauce, Hog's Ass or Dave's Hurtin' Habanero.  Like hot sauces?   You'll find one here that is guaranteed to burn going in and burn coming out.  I received a membership in the "Hot Sauce of the Month" club as a gift last year.  You receive a different bottle each month for six months.  Still working on my third bottle.  Browse thru the site and compare the scoville units of some of these sauces.  For example, the One Million Scoville Pepper Extract, compare it to the average scoville rating of a Jalapeno pepper 2,500 - 8,000 scoville units.   The Habanero chili pepper averages 100,000 -350,000 scoville units.  Also, check out the originality of some of the sauces' names.

Not any special one, if it doesn't make my head sweat, its not hot enough. For those that would like to try different sauces, stop by a Firehouse Sub shop. They must have between 20 - 30 different ones you can try without buying one you may not care for.
