Took some friends fishing on Pensacola beach Saturday afternoon. The wind was kicking, it was muddy, and cold. We didn't expect much with cold wind or to stay long. But we caught a nice whiting and two reds on fresh shrimp with a double drop rig. One red was 25" and the other 21". The pic is the 25". Remember to take a kid fish-n, someone took you.

Looks like it was a bit windy and cold, glad you hooked a few.

Red fishing off the beach's this time of year can produce some nice slot fish.. Congrats..

Nice catch! looks like the kids may have had fun too. Are you using waders by the way? I just bought some last month for fishing this winter in the local rivers and lakes. Do the waders hold up well, if that's what you are using?

I would have if I had some. Just waited for the waves to pull back, and threw it out as far as I could.
