Ol Potlicker invited My little girl up to his place to hunt this afternoon, we got set up in our ground blind at 2, at 4 an ol nanny stepped out, after a few minutes of waiting on a good shot, she put ol Stinks .243 to work ! I wanna thank you Potlicker for letting us come up and make the hunt, It was a day that I'll never forget, and one that I hope she wont forget for a long time. and thanks Stink for all the help. |

Man congratulations. I'm sure you've been waiting for this for a while. I was hoping my daughter could get one this yr (age 5), but after taking her out shooting I realize that she is not even close to being ready. I can't wait until I've got some pictures like the ones you have.

but after taking her out shooting I realize that she is not even close to being ready. Let me tell about something I think helped my girl with her shooting. For a while she just wasnt getting the " where to put the crosshairs" logic, at first I think that she was thinkin, "okay, if I can see it thru the scope (regardless of crosshair placement) I can hit it ", well after a hundred shots and obviously getting nowhere soon, I got her A cabelas big game hunter video game, this I believe, allowed her to seehow and where to put her sights on game. Maybe not, but her shooting improver 100% after playing the game. just an idea.
