| I am, and always been an FSU fan and supporter, and will never change. We lost to a great team Saturday, and a better team than we were on that day. To all that Play, Pull, Coach and Support the Florida Gators, I wish you all the best in your pursuit of the SEC Championship. I have heard enough from some Alabama Fans to make me look forward to seeing Florida Win the SEC championship. It's plumb funny, I haven't heard much football out of them in years, until this year, and now they are so mouthy, I have started to avoid a few of them. From this Nole, Good Luck to the Florida Gators, and I really hope you Gators shut some of my friends up.

Thanks Garbo , you show a lot of class.
I was actually raised a Bama fan, Bear Bryant, Golden Flake, Coke, and their years of dominance and greatness. But their past is like George Washington,.......it's history.
What you are witnessing from a few fans is a result of 16 years of frustration.
Saturday should be fun.
Go Gators !

Thanks for the kind words, and I do truly wish the Gators the best in Post season play. I have a few friends that are Alabama Fans and they have been hard to be around this year. There absolutely nothing wrong with a little ribbing and smack talk at all, but there is a graceful way to loose as is there a graceful way to win, and I don't think "My Friends" have learned either yet, and they are very difficult to be around of late. There comes a point where something becomes above and beyond obnoxious. Good Luck Gators and Win Well as well as the Right way.

yea there are some trash talkers on both sides but i have to believe there are more florida trash talkers, just because you have tim tebow and percy harvin doesn't make you unbeatable trust me ole miss showed that so what make florida fans think they are going to roll into atlanta and just plain whip our ass, florida hasn't been formally introduce to andre smith and the rest of our defense, florida might just win maybe we will win but trust me timmy TEBAG will know that alabamas was there FYI: i cant stand timmy tebag or urban myer

| Garbo, WOW!!! as a GATOR, thanks... I think most of what you hear and ALL of what you read on these boards is in fun... Now, about the game... I think it'll come down to turnovers and special teams... 20-17 GATORS!!! But that's purely wishful thinking. Jim

| Everyone already has Bama as the under dog. Bama has already showed that they are up for the challange. I hope florida comes in with the mentality of already going to the Championship. I promise you one thing either outcome florida is gonna be banged up. No doubt it will be a great game, but I hope Bama stomps some a$$. ROLL TIDE!!!!

Don't blame the Bama fans - it's all those years of shoveling that has them frustrated....it's tough to dig up the Bear every 5 years. I'm hoping Saban looks good in a houndstooth.

boggs187 (11/30/2008) Good luck to both teams. But i have to say Florida wins by 3 touchdowns. With or without Percy.you must have lost your mind. a quote from rivals. com the Tide lead the league in rush defense, total defense and scoring defense, and they've allowed more than 21 points once this season (Georgia scored 31). In addition, Alabama has allowed just 37 total points in its past five games. Alabama has allowed more than 100 rushing yards in a game just twice, and the Tide has given up just three rushing touchdowns all season. that just states the facts. It is going to be a great game, but you have got to be drunk to think they are going to win by 21. And if you truely do, I will take that bet.

Similar to the "living shit" that was beaten out of Auburn Saturday evening?? Also, could you clear something up for me? What exactly is living shit? Is there dead shit too?? I guess 36 points would be classified as "living shit". What amount of points is required to be classified as living shit??

"Band Wagon" Mr. Hood ?
And what fact do you base your clueless statement on ?
I've been following Alabama football actively since 1963. Just how old are you son ?
I became a Gator fan some 20 years ago, and have been a repeated season ticket holder. My son almost went to UF on a full football ride in 2003 but ended up instead signing with Florida Atlantic University.
Perhaps, before you start shooting your mouth off again Mr. "Hood" , I suggest you first get your facts straight !

The beginning of this thread really makes me wonder about Garbo. What do these so called friends do that is so obnoxiuos? Do they call you at 3:00 in the morning, "ring ring", "hello", ROLL TIDE! Ha ha ha ha ha ha, click? Sounds to me like you're being a little too sensitive or maybe your post was just a guise to make a point and make yourself look honorable. I don't buy it unless your friends are 8 or 9 years old. Looking forward to a good game, hope it's fair and clean and may the best team go on to keep the sec #1.

fishitall (12/2/2008) The beginning of this thread really makes me wonder about Garbo. Looking forward to a good game, hope it's fair and clean and may the best team go on to keep the sec #1.So that you have to wonder no more. I love college football, all college football. I am partial to FSU due to having been a student there, and I absolutley love the School as well as Tallahassee, and the plans are that my children will attend FSU as well. But, I love all College Football. I also was taught as a young child there is an honorable way to loose as well as an honorable way to win, and try to abide by it still today. Think about that. As much as I love College Football, it is still a game, and as great as a game as it is, it should not divide people of any sort and certainly people that consider themselves friends, but, it does, and isn't that obnoxious? If it isn't please explain how......... I have coached little league ball for years and after every game it is somewhat customary that, Win or Loose both teams shake hands and congradulate each other on a good game. I believe that children are normally more honorable sportsman than many adults of today. So if my friends were children I would expect more of them, not less. As for my friends in question, who are by no means children, they have this year been so vocally loud, seemingly delusional and overly arrogant that they are very difficult to be around, because of,,,,,you guessed it, Alabama Football. Even more odd, only one of them has any afiliation with the University at all. There is a prescription to ease these symptoms, it's just a little humbling to ease and delude the arrogance, and bring them back to reality. As for me, wonder if you like, but I wrote what I feel is appropriate, FSU was defeated by a better team, and my hat is off to them, as they were better competitors than my team on that day. I wish them well for three reasons, their continued success vindicates FSU's defeat, and it also is the right thing to do, but I would also like to see a dose of reality portioned out for a few of my "Very Adult" friends that happen to be overly proud Alabama Fans. I love to see Troy win. Anywhere, Anybody and Anytime. They are a great Team to watch. I hope that I cleared up anything that made you wonder. Good Luck, Gators.

Nope, I still wonder about your choice of friends and how someone could rub you that wrong. It is a game and as you so eloquintly put the lipstick on the pig, it's still a pig. It's a week statement with makeup all over it. Even the dull and ignorant have a story, sometimes you just got to change the way "you" look at it. There are fans spouting off on both sides and indifferent. At the end of the day it doesn't matter and it's too bad you're having to avoid people. This got a little deep. Roll Damn Tide! Have fun.
