Myself and two other knuckleheads went fishing last sunday morning and man was it cold . Arrived at the sweet spot at 0530 dropped 6 10-15 foot surf rods with cut bait (maullet) into the rough surf and I mean rough. With great results minus the pomps. 1- slot red and 1 drum average size of 16". Not bad catch, but was hoping for some pomps, oh well. Stuffed with tomatoes, onions, lemon wedges, mayo, salt and pepper to taste. Then fed them to the knuckleheads with lots of beerski to wash it down.

Glad to hear somebody went out in that weather to fish.  My buddy and I decided to try that out Sat morning, we got out ot the beach and walked to the water and turned straight around cause we didn't want to fish in those conditions.  Good haul tho, much congrats.
