I have a 35 Johnson set up for cables and such and was wondering if I can put a tiller on it?  Any help appreciated.  Thanks, SHB

1st need to know what year it is..... more so the model (ex. e35elst) found on the transom bracket. this will give the info needed for whoever looks up the parts. i would recommend going to wills marine with the info and talking with them. more than likely there will be no problem with converting it, but it may cost more than you want to spend.

Hey Stuart - How about screwing a piece of PVC to the cowling?  You could then put a pull string on the carb.  Kind of bobber style for outboards.    If the pipe is long enough - you could flounder solo as well!
