| Headed out Friday morning for our first bottom trip to the edge with sights set on grouper and amberjack. We stopped at the Tenneco to find large numbers of fish marking. Caught a 10+ lb snapper and donated an amberjack and several other fish to some of the largest cuda we've ever seen. One came to the surface and was at least 8" across the back. We left Tennaco and headed to the edge to find some rocks. We had a hard time locating a spot, but eventually found an area where the bottom raised up about 8'. Hooked several large fish, but none made it to the boat. One rocked up, a knot failed on another, and pulled the hook on the third. We ended up keeping only one lane snapper and an amberjack head. Not a successful trip, but sure beats the hell out of work!

| Sounds like the long line release program worked well.
