Ok so I'm just trying to get into this... I picked up 3 of the coleman lanterns from the place over in Foley (thanks to Saltfisher I think for posting that)... went out a couple times last week. First trip had one shot and didn't stick him (lesson learned - stab harder). Second outing didn't even see a fish.... gonna keep trying!
My buddies think I'm crazy for picking up YET ANOTHER hobby...but this is fun

Stick with it (no pun intended), you'll figure-um out. As far as your lesson learned goes, anything you think is worth a poke... stick it with authority. If not you will miss more than one nice fish.
